Lifecycle Management
Cesmic works with organizations to apply lifecycle management tools, services and fundamentals to critical cooling and power systems that support IT infrastructure. We understand that the majority of IT funding targets storage servers, networks and security, but underfunding the critical power and cooling can result in unscheduled downtime. That is why we are proud our system also helps clients with limited budgets.
The lifecycle of critical IT infrastructure is approximately 15 years, depending on the design and preventative maintenance parameters. Critical power systems, including UPS systems, normally require UPS battery replacement every 3–5 years, while UPS capacitors and static switches require replacement every 10 years. Cesmic provides modernization and revitalization services of critical components for modular UPS systems to help extend end of life (EOL) and defer the capital costs and complexity of replacing existing UPS systems that support critical IT systems.
The lifecycle of critical cooling systems is approximately 15 years, based on design and preventative parameters, while cooling system compressors and cooling fans vary according to maintenance. Cesmic can provide turn-key services, depending on the redundancy of the cooling infrastructure, as well as replacement of individual cooling systems and components without significant impact on the operation of critical IT systems.
